Yes, the title is correct.  Kanye is so cool that he can drop a music video for a track from 2010 in 2012.  Kanye collaborated with renown fashion film director Ruth Hogben for this video.

A$AP Rocky – Goldie (Prod. Hit-Boy)

One of the most flamboyant rappers currently in the business and with out a doubt in Detroit, Danny Brown, collaborated with UK grime producer Darq E Freaker to make “Blueberry (Pills & Cocaine)” for the UK blog Southern Hospitality. The video premiered by Noisey is above. A package of remixes of the original were released a few days ago and features remixes from Sinden & 5kinandbone5, Star Slinger, Pelican Fly All Stars (Richelle, Mister Tweeks, DJ Slow and Sinjin Hawke) and Nightslugs’ Kansas affiliate MORRI$. I think Star Slinger’s version is the best, but check the others out.

Louis La Roche, of Gimme Gimme fame, recently released his EP, and it is home to some killer Summer tracks. He also released the single Untrue & Touchwood. Here, Untrue is definitely the A-side; Ad-Apt adds a couple verses on top of a perfectly funky beat that will have you feeling real nice. The B-side Touchwood is great if you like a little jazz and funk influence. Definitely the chiller of the two tracks. These are two to rock as the weather gets warmer.

All you college students know 8 ams suck, and commuting is even worse, so I’ve compiled a few songs from my library that I usually listen to first thing in the morning to get the blood flowing. Give them all a chance, and I promise they will make your day more bearable.

Example – Watch the Sun Come Up (Devils Gun Zeitgeist Remix)

Cherry Coke – Milky Way

Sex Ray Vision – Blender

Arty & Matt Zo – Rebound (Original Mix)

Mike Posner – You Don’t Have to Leave

Another killer hit from 3LAU as he tackles Adele’s monster “Set Fire to the Rain”. I’ve be pushing this guys mixes on you for a while and I really think he’s gotten some good feedback and I truly believe he will eventually be a HUGE breakthrough artists in the industry. Enjoy.  dF.

Set Fire (3LAU Bootleg)

Last week I posted my first TheFatRat remix of Don’t Stop by Foster the People. The traffic on that track has not been stellar, but I have certainly been getting good use out of it in my car. And what is the point of writing for a music website if you don’t post what you love? So to follow up that post I’ll hit you with antoher remix by TheFatRat of Avicii’s hit Levels.

BONUS TRACK: Just giving you another shot at the song that’s been on constant replay for me.
